UNDERCOVER releases a photobook “RECORD.“, a collection of photos of the preparation and backstage scenes of UNDERCOVER runway shows documented and titled by Paris based photographer, WATARU. It is the third behind-the-scenes photo book published by UNDERCOVER following Yoshie Tominaga’s “the Shepherd” (2008) and Taro Mizutani’s “Chaos/Balance” (2017).
[About the Author]
WATARU is a photographer who was born in Tokyo in 1969. He moved to Paris in 1991 and started working as a hair stylist there and in New York, then later made a career change to photography. In 2004, he moved back to Tokyo and worked with fashion magazines, musicians, and advertisers for 10 years. In 2014, he moved back to Paris to further pursue his career.
